Warranty
Two warranties, and who gives each
A commercial roof can carry a warranty from the membrane maker and one from the roofer. They cover different things, and we keep them apart.
The membrane maker's warranty
Covers the material, on the terms the manufacturer writes. Some makers also warrant the whole roof system when an approved installer puts it on.
Issued by the manufacturer
Terms vary by product and system
Often expects documented maintenance
Our workmanship warranty
Covers how the roof was installed. The term and what it covers are on the first page of your contract.

Excludes damage by others
What neither one is
A warranty is not insurance and does not pay for storm damage, interior damage or work by other trades.
